MIDWIFERY


1. The objective of the training
 
This three-year specialty aims to train highly qualified pharmacy technicians capable of participating in the design, manufacture,
administering and storing drugs under the direction of a pharmacist; and providing high quality, holistic pharmaceutical care in a variety of clinical, industrial and academic settings at the local, national or international level.

Specific skills


- Ensure family planning with women wishing to take maternity leave;
- Conduct a prenatal consultation;
- Organize and lead a collective meeting in preparation for the birth and parentage;
- Provide emergency consultation for abdominal pain during the 3rd trimester of pregnancy;
- Take charge of pregnancy from conception to birth and after childbirth;
- Diagnose and monitor labor, perform the birth and monitor its consequences;
- Diagnose and manage the bleeding of the bursa (beyond the immediate posPHartum period);
- Perform the clinical examination of the mother and the newborn;
- Carry out a contraception and gynecology and prevention consultation;
- Carry out neonatal resuscitation of the newborn.
