1. OBJECTIVE OF THE TRAINING
 
This training aims to train executives able to detect, through laboratory examinations, the various pathologies that can affect the human body.

2. SKILLS SOUGHT


Generic skills

- Receive and control the biological sample and record the date, time of collection, patient contact details, etc. ;
- Prepare analyzers, reagents and biological sample (fractionation,
distribution by type of analysis);
- Process the sample by centrifugation, dilution, heating, and
monitor the progress of the analysis and record the data;
- Compare the results of the analysis with previous results, with minimum values,
maximum and establish the report;
- Monitor the inventory of consumables, establish replenishment orders and arrange equipment according to their validity date and
their storage conditions;
- Check the functioning of the analyzers, update the maintenance register and inform in the event of a malfunction;
- Disinfect, decontaminate, store the workstation and equipment;
- Proceed with the evacuation and destruction of waste.
 

· Specific skills

- Perform biological analyzes on samples of blood, secretions, tissues, urine, stool, etc;
- Perform biology analyzes in anatomo-cytopathology, bacteriology,
Biochemistry, Parasitology, Hematology, Immunology / Serology, Virology;
- Check the feasibility conditions for a biological sample and inform the patient about its progress;
- Take a blood sample, monitor the patient's reactions and intervene according to
the necessity ;
- Manage the stock of labile blood products in an establishment and supply the
care units;
- Carry out training actions within an organization.
