1. OBJECTIVE OF THE TRAINING
The training in BTS specialty journalism aims to train students capable of collecting, prioritizing, writing in all its forms and in all positions and of publishing information for a plural audience by means of: written press, radio, television, agency and internet on national, African and international events. They report on current affairs by providing their own analysis and insight.

· Specific skills
- Mastering the sciences and techniques of information and communication;
- Master the functioning of the media: radio, television, written press and internet.
- Handle most of the technical tools (camera and sound recording equipment in particular);
- Acquire the theoretical and professional knowledge of all
the audiovisual production chain;
- Choose the tools and techniques for processing information based on
different audiences and media;
- Master the tools and methods necessary to produce a radio or television program;
- Master the methods and techniques of the written press;
- Master the different journalistic styles, the information hierarchy;
- Take pictures and use the images;
- Organize and coordinate the different stages of a report.
